“After a month and a half I was back in a Chevy and I feel great. We made fee changes and I hope the results will be noticeable in Beijing rounds already. I am looking forward to Asia rounds and hope I will be able to finish remaining 8 races without problems“- Borković said.
Test in Spain is very important for Borković not only because of the Asia rounds but also for the next season. After Macau race on 15th of November cars will return to Europe in January and there will be little time to test then.
“I suppose that this is not an issue for factory teams because they have spare cars for tests. Private drivers like me dont have that luxury. That is one of the reasons for Independents trophy returning next season. That means that unlike this year next season private drivers and teams will compete along with factory teams in TC1 class but apart for the overall standings they will compete for points and separate podiums in Independents trophy“ – Borković shared his excitement.
This news motivates Serbian champion even more to learn as much as he can and improve his car till the end of the season to prepare for great results in Independents trophy in WTCC 2015.
“My team and I are doing our best preparing for the next season. WTCC is one of the most prestigious FIA competitions and it is an honor to be part of it”- Borković said after the test.
